Brian Rader is the founder of Rader Law, LLC, and throughout his career, has grown a dynamic practice servicing both individuals and entities in the areas of real estate, litigation, general corporate guidance, and common-interest communities. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rader has garnered broad experience, having participated in a wide category of litigation (from filing of suit to trial) and transactional work. Mr. Rader identifies as a “risk manager”, often capitalizing on knowledge of litigation procedure and causes of action, to help clients resolve their issues in the most pragmatic fashion before escalation.
From 2017-2023, Mr. Rader was identified as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a designation reserved for 2.5 percent of private practicing attorneys under the age of 40. In 2019, Mr. Rader was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the District VI (Hudson County) Ethic’s Committee, a prosecutorial and regulatory arm of the Supreme Court which regulates the conduct of attorneys.
Prior to entering the private practice of law, Mr. Rader served as a judicial clerk in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage, where he drafted legal opinions for the trial court regarding a wide range of legal issues, including, but not limited to, contract disputes, real estate related actions, and a variety of tort actions. Mr. Rader was also responsible for mediating and resolving a variety of civil disputes prior to trial.
Mr. Rader also served as a member of the corporate legal department of the National Football League where he administered employment agreements, stadium leases, and assisted the league office with player misconduct appeals. Mr. Rader was also an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor where he negotiated and finalized contracts with the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
Mr. Rader has been featured in leading publications such as The Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal, and The Cooperator, a leading publication on common-interest communities. Mr. Rader has routinely lectured at the Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development, and for the Appraisal Institute of New Jersey. Mr. Rader has also been featured in the New Jersey Law Journal for successfully obtaining an injunction in favor of multiple residents opposing a mandatory easement assessment imposed by a local lake association, and VerdictSearch, for prevailing at trial on behalf of a landlord against a tenant who claimed personal injury as a result of mold exposure.

Mr. Rader’s vast experience in both litigation and transactional work has been instrumental in his ability to broadly service the real estate industry.
Mr. Rader has handled litigation matters from initiation of the complaint to trial. Litigation matters include, but are not limited to, contract actions, partnership disputes, claims arising from fraudulent conduct, tort/personal injury actions on real property, homeowner/contractor disputes, nuisance actions, common-interest community disputes, such as fiduciary duty actions involving Boards of Directors, landlord-tenant actions for possession, and foreclosures.
Mr. Rader has consummated real estate transactions ranging from multi-unit apartment complexes to retail properties, and residential dwellings. Mr. Rader has aided investors in the acquisition of non-performing mortgages and tax liens, while prosecuting the related foreclosure actions. Mr. Rader has also aided investors in the creation of joint venture agreements, asset purchases involving both real property and fixed assets, and loan documentation necessary to consummate secured transactions. Mr. Rader has overseen the construction loan process helping clients procure millions of dollars of funding and assisted investors in the “condo conversion” process, helping in the conversion of multi-dwelling properties to condominiums. Mr. Rader serves as general counsel to a large number of common-interest communities (condo, HOA, and coop) where he helps members of the Board of Directors, and managing agents, meet their fiduciary duties under applicable law.
