Lars O. Lagerman

Lars Lagerman is a real estate attorney with experience spanning from the acquisition, development and construction of single-family residential subdivisions, shopping centers, hotels and office buildings to the negotiation and documentation of major credit facilities for master-planned communities and golf courses. Along with his wide-ranging deal experience, Lars routinely works with lenders on real estate loan workouts and foreclosures, receiverships and guarantee enforcement.

With a practice that reaches locally and internationally, Lars is routinely involved in public land issues before the Arizona State Land Department and often represents clients in complex cross-border deals. His intimate knowledge of Arizona’s real estate industry allows him to act as local counsel for a number of national firms when their transactions have an Arizona connection. In addition to his work in Arizona, Lars also works extensively with clients on projects in California.

• Represented private investors and developers in land use and development of opportunistic real property parcels in Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico
• Represented national railroad in real estate matters and application to purchase large parcel of undeveloped land from the Arizona State Land Department
• Represented Singapore-based boutique hotel company in its acquisition of a California hotel
• Represented publicly traded California-based power generator in connection with land assemblage and development of a large solar power project in Arizona
• Represented lender in acquisition, development and construction loan for master-planned residential and golf community in Arizona
• Represented lender in acquisition, development and construction loan for luxury master-planned residential and golf community in Hawaii
• Represented lender in real estate secured revolving credit facility to national public homebuilder
• Represented lender in acquisition, development, construction and receivables loan for hotel and timeshare property in Las Vegas, Nevada
